Privacy Policy

No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics. Your matches and health data stay on your Apple Watch, your iPhone and your own private iCloud. We run no servers that receive this data, so we never see it. App Store privacy label: "Data Not Collected".

1. Who we are

2. Data the app handles

PadelWin creates and stores this data on your devices only, on the free plan and on Pro alike:

  • Match data: scores, match settings, who served, the order of points, dates and times, and the statistics worked out from them.
  • Workout data during a session: heart rate, active calories and duration, read from Apple Health while a session runs.
  • App settings: for example appearance and your Save to Health choice.

Your Apple Watch and iPhone exchange this data directly with each other through Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. It does not pass through any server of ours.

We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, device identifiers or usage data. The app contains no advertising, no tracking and no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. We do not sell or share personal data.

3. Apple Health (HealthKit)

  • PadelWin asks for permission to use Apple Health. You choose what to allow in Apple's own permission screen and can change it at any time in the Health app or in Settings.
  • Reading: heart rate and active energy are read only while a session is running.
  • Writing: a session is saved to Apple Health as one workout only if Save to Health is on. With it off, nothing is written to Apple Health.
  • Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold and never shared with third parties.
  • The heart rate and calorie summary saved with each match is part of your match history, so it is included in your own private iCloud backup described below.

4. iCloud backup

On iPhone, PadelWin backs up your match history to the private database of your own iCloud account, using Apple's CloudKit. This copy is stored on Apple's servers under your Apple ID. Only you can access it; we cannot. If you are not signed in to iCloud, or turn iCloud off for PadelWin, no backup is made. You can delete the backup in iPhone Settings, under your name, iCloud, Manage Storage. Apple's handling of iCloud data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Purchases

PadelWin Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment details and billing. We receive no payment details and no personal data about you from Apple. The app checks on your device, through Apple's StoreKit, whether Pro is active.

6. This website

padelwin.app uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google to download the font files (see Google's Privacy Policy). Our web host may keep short-term server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. The score demo on the home page runs only in your browser and stores nothing. If you pick Light or Dark under Appearance at the bottom of a page, that choice is saved in your own browser (local storage, not a cookie) so the next page opens the same way. It is never sent to us; pick Auto to remove it.

7. Legal basis (GDPR)

Because the app does not send your data to us, we do not process it as a controller in most cases. Where we do process personal data, for example when you email us, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Health data is processed only on your devices, with your explicit consent given in Apple's permission screen (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR).

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Your PadelWin data lives on your devices and in your iCloud, so you control it directly: delete single matches or all matches in the iPhone app, or delete the app and its iCloud data. For anything we hold, such as emails you sent us, write to hello@padelwin.app. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Children

PadelWin is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Important changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
